Welcome to Science in 5. I'm Vismita Gupta-Smith. This is WHO's conversation in the field of science. and Dr. April Baller will explain how you can safely take care of COVID-19 patients at home. The first scenario involves the health system being stretched. This could happen in the event that, for example the sudden growth or an increase in cases in the community. This means there aren't any beds left. In this situation the way doctors decide to do is visit patients and offer them the advice and treatment they need before releasing them to be taken care of at home.April, what are the possible scenarios are we experiencing where someone is asked to take care for themselves or take care of a COVID patient at home?
